Shoe Box Appeal- Pics
The Transition Year Community Care class has been working hard on preparing a shoe box appeal in association with Team Hope. The shoe box appeal will help less fortunate children across the globe this Christmas.
These shoe boxes will contain necessities and enjoyable gifts for children in the age 0-14 years.
Items that can be included are:
Wash – items such as soap (wrapped), hair brush, toothpaste and toothbrush.
Wear – Hats, gloves, socks etc.
Write – Pencils, colouring books, colours, pencil sharpener.
WOW – Skipping rope, cuddly toys etc.
Items from each category are being collected by TY community care class and their teacher Mr. Devine. They are collecting items up to and including Thursday 27th October 2022.
We would like to give a huge big ‘thank you’ to Mrs. Maureen Burke, for educating the girls about Team Hope and the shoe box appeal.
