Guest Speakers
Prof Fergal O’Brien from the Royal College of Surgeons gave a lecture to Transition Year students on “Engineering meets Science & Medicine: Biomaterials & Stem Cell Technology in Regenerative Medicine”.
Dr. Aoife McLysaght from Trinity College gave a talk to Transition Years entitled “Making Sense of the Human Genome.”
Dr. Marc Devocelle from the Royal College of Surgeons gave a talk to Transition Years on “Resistance of Bacteria to Antibiotics.”
