Samhain Festival TY Cookery Competition 2023- Pics

Well done to Victoria McMenemy Kearns and Irem Stafford who competed in the Samhain Festival TY cookery competition. The competition was held in Eureka House. The students created two dishes using local produce, a vegetarian lasagne that  included Kerrigans mushrooms and Boyne Valley Bán goats cheese. The chocolate cake made included free range eggs purchased from Hogan’s farm shop and was served with Silly Sid’s vanilla icecream made in Slane. Judges included celebrity chef Kevin Dundon & Pauric White. The girls received certificates and goodie bags for participating. Thanks to all involved and especially their teacher: Ms. Curran.
