Junior Soccer Team 2023

Congratulations to our Junior Soccer team, who won 3:1 against St. Olivers C.C. Drogheda in the Leinster League last 16 knockout stages. The girls fought a great battle to win back the victory. We wish the girls the very best of luck in the quarter finals. Teachers/ coaches: Ms. McElroy & Fr. David.

U19 Leinster League Division 1 Champions 2015

Congratulations to the Eureka Senior soccer team on their thoroughly deserved 3-1 victory over Sacred Heart, Tullamore today. The girls put on a spectacular performance in Mullingar to be crowned the Leinster League Division 1 Champions. The girls were 2-0 ahead at half time with two excellently taken goals from Katie Emmett and Shianne Swarres. Tullamore fought back bravely with a goal early in the second half, before Rose Finnegan sealed the Eureka win. The team did themselves and the school proud today. Well done to all the players and their coaches, Mr Noone, Mr Whitty & Mr Dennehy.

​IFA Leinster Champions – First Year Division 1 2014

The girls won 6-0 against Scoil Mhuire, Clane to become 1st year division 1 champions. Goals from Hannah Boggins and Ruby Loughlin and 2 from Lorraine Drumm and 2 from Chloe McDonnell sealed a well deserved victory in Trim. Well done to all that took part and coaches Mr Noone, Mr Dennehy and Mr Whitty.

Eureka are the new Meath Futsal Champions!

A huge congratulations to the new Meath Futsal champions after an impressive display in Gormanstown on Friday November 15th. The girls were victorious in all of their group games and went on to win the final by two goals to nil. The girls now proceed to represent Meath in the Leinster Futsal Championship on Wednesday, 20th November.

​Leinster Cup Final 2012

Congratulations to the U14 soccer team, who won the Leinster Cup. They beat Alexandra College in a penalty shootout.

Coaches: Mr Noone, Mr Whitty & Fr David.

“It was 0-0 at halftime. Rebecca Goodwin scored from a header, and then Roisin McFadden scored from 20 yards – a peach of a goal. Loreto scored one back at and in the dying minutes of the game were awarded a penalty. Eureka pressed hard in extra time, but they couldn’t get a lucky break. We won 4-2 in penalties, and Jennifer Newman made two great saves during the penalty competition.” Well done to all concerned.
